Day 1 – Arrival at Errachidia Airport From Marrakech:

Upon your arrival at the airport, we’ll greet you and kick off our 3-day desert tour from Errachidia to Merzouga. Along the way, you’ll marvel at the stunning vistas of Ziz Gorges and pause for a panoramic view of Ziz Valley. Our journey then takes us through Aoufous and Erfoud, known for their fossils and dates. You might want to visit a local fossil craft workshop in Erfoud. Next, we’ll head to the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi Dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes. Upon arrival, prepare for a camel ride lasting about an hour and a half to reach our campsite. During the trek, we’ll pause amidst the dunes to witness the sunset, try sandboarding if you’re interested, capture photos, and soak in the breathtaking scenery. After sunset, we’ll continue to the camp, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing glass of mint tea. The evening promises dinner, a campfire, lively music, and an overnight stay at the luxurious White Camp.

Day 2 – Tour around the dunes – Day of Exploration :

After breakfast, around 11 AM, you’ll embark on a 4×4 tour of the dunes. This adventure allows you to explore the unique black volcanic rocks with marble fossils, visit a nomad family residing in a traditional tent, and discover Khamlia village, renowned for its vibrant culture and spiritual Gnawa music. You’ll also have the chance to see Lake Dayte Sarji, which forms during spring and attracts pink flamingos and other wildlife. If you’re hungry, you can opt for lunch in Khamlia Village and try the local specialty, “Medfouna” pizza. Following lunch, we’ll explore the canal irrigation system and stroll through the oasis nestled at the base of the dunes. Afterward, you’ll have free time to engage in optional activities like sandboarding, ATV rides, quad biking, or dune buggies. We’ll then return to the camp in a 4×4 vehicle, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night, immersing yourself in the local culture and festivities.

Day 3 – Merzouga- Erfoud – Errachidia airport:

After breakfast and freshening up, it’s time to conclude our unforgettable journey. We’ll head back to Errachidia Airport, making a stop at the renowned Erfoud Local Market known for its national dates. If you’re interested in purchasing some dates, just let the driver know. Otherwise, we’ll continue straight to Errachidia, ensuring you reach the airport at least 2 hours before your 3:00 PM flight.

Not permitted to sell it, however, you may bring it with you, and the camp workers will save it in the fridge and serve it to you.

Yes we do, there will be an opportunity to take pictures of Oasis, Camels, goats, nomads … Please kindly note that the Family living in tent is expecting a tip.

Yes you can swim in the Pools of Merzouga, but Between the year,  In the winter is impossible, you will be surprised some times how hot and sunny Merzouga is. 

You can have it with nomads, or in a local restaurant. ( depends on your choices)

Although there are fewer shops in Merzouga compared to other big cities of Morocco but still you can buy number of products from its local market like Dattes , Fossiles, Crafts, Carpets, long dresses, Merchandise and if you want to cook traditional Moroccan Cuisine in your Kitchen than do not forget to purchase the local spices particularly Ras El Hanout.

Yes, Merzouga is much more cost friendly than Marrakech. The Town of Merzouga is very friendly, cheap and easy to explore. Food and beverages can also be found in excellent prices.
