Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley or Tinghir

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up to begin your journey to the desert. Depart from Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, crossing the Atlas Mountains with stops to enjoy the breathtaking views along the way. You will visit a women’s cooperative that produces argan oil, where you can learn about the extraction process and discover its various culinary and beauty uses. 

Next, continue to Ouarzazate to visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A guided tour will take you through its streets and up to the top, where you can admire the stunning views of the valley. 

After the visit, head to the impressive Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a cozy hotel in either Dades or Tinghir, depending on availability. 


Day 2: Dades Valley or Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi Desert

After breakfast, continue along the route through Boulmane and Tinghir, where the road is lined with kasbahs (citadels) and ksour (fortresses), surrounded by ochre, red, and mauve landscapes. Along the way, you’ll see rocky plateaus where camels graze. After passing through ksour, oases, and palm groves, you’ll reach Todra, home to the spectacular Todra Gorges, perched 350 meters high and surrounded by a palm grove. Take time to stroll through the gorges. Continue to Touroug for lunch, then head to Erfoud, known as the city of fossils, before finally arriving in Merzouga. Here, you’ll begin your camel ride adventure into the heart of the desert, reaching a camp of Luxury Berber tents amidst the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy dinner, a traditional Amazigh (Berber) party, and spend the night under the desert stars in a cozy tent.


Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane  – Fes 

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise from the camp and enjoy the peaceful desert morning. After breakfast and a refreshing shower at the camp, you’ll begin your journey to Fes.

Travel through the stunning Ziz Valley, with its lush palm groves and dramatic landscapes, and stop for lunch in a charming village known for its apple orchards. Continue your drive through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests where you might spot wild monkeys.
