3-Day Luxury Desert Experience at The White Camp
Day 1: Camel Ride & Overnight in the Luxury Desert Camp
Your unforgettable adventure begins with a scenic drive to the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes. Upon arrival, we will greet you and transfer your luggage to Luxury The White Camp while you prepare for an exciting camel ride.
Enjoy a 1.5-hour trek across the golden dunes, stopping at a breathtaking spot to watch the sunset. If you’re up for it, try sandboarding and capture stunning photos of the endless desert landscape. As the sun sets, continue your journey to our luxury camp, where a warm welcome with mint tea awaits. Relax with a hot shower, savor a delicious dinner under the stars, and enjoy a campfire music party with traditional Berber drumming. Spend the night in your luxurious private tent, surrounded by the peaceful Sahara.
Day 2: Explore the Desert – Nomads, Berber Pizza & Oasis Walk
After a delightful breakfast, embark on a 4×4 desert adventure to uncover the hidden treasures of Merzouga. Visit:
- Black volcanic rock formations rich in fossils.
- A nomad family living in traditional tents.
- Khamlia village, where you’ll experience the hypnotic beats of Gnawa spiritual music.
- Lake Dayte Sarji, a seasonal oasis that attracts pink flamingos and wildlife.
Enjoy a lunch break in Merzouga or Hassi Labied, where you can taste an authentic Berber Pizza. Can we hire quad bikes in the Merzouga desert?
About quads biking is depends on the date you arrived, if is it late then you will have it next day morning, you will paid directly to the supplier for 45 euros per person for 1 H.
Is there an opportunity to try sandboarding?
There will be a few sand boards available at the camp to use at leisure ( Availability not guaranteed ). You can ask for one to take to the camp with you. They are free.
