Pick-up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech. Travel across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue through Ouarzazate, Skoura Oasis, and the Valley of Roses before reaching Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your 4 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour begins with an early pick-up from your riad, hotel, or airport in Marrakech. Travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in Morocco, while enjoying breathtaking views of Berber villages, mountain landscapes, and scenic valleys.

Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs and the filming location for movies such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones. After exploring the ancient village and enjoying lunch, continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa.

Travel through the Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses before arriving in Dades Valley. Here, you’ll discover the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations and enjoy panoramic views over the valley before checking into your hotel.

✅ Luggage Storage – Your main luggage stays safely in the van and is transferred to the camp by 4×4. For the camel ride, carry only a small backpack with essentials (water, scarf/turban, personal items).

✅ What to Wear – Comfortable clothes for the camel ride are recommended (jeans, long pants, or long shorts).

Yes, you can bring your luggage. You will have it with you at the first night hotel, and for the desert luxury camp another driver will transfer everything safely to the camp.

For the camel ride, we recommend wearing jeans or long trousers. Please prepare a small backpack with and your personal belongings. Do not forget sunglasses, a scarf, a hat, and your bottle of water. the other luggage would be dropped by your driver in your tent during your camel ride.

In winter it gets quite cold at night in the desert (temperatures can drop to around 0). You will be provided with warm blankets, but we would advise bringing warm clothes for sleeping.

Yes our driver will pick up you in your hotel/riad/ Airbnb at no extra charge cost.

The camel trek lasts for about 1 hour, depending on the season, daylight, etc.

Yes, sandboarding is free. You will have it during the camel ride, when we stop at the dunes to watch the sunset and enjoy sandboarding.

Yes, the camel ride is included. If you prefer to skip it, the camp driver will transfer you directly to the camp where you can enjoy mint tea and relax.
