Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades

Pick-up from your riad in Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Dades Valley.
Overnight in a hotel (Riad Paradise or Ksar Sultan).

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

Visit Todra Gorge, then drive to Merzouga. Enjoy a sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by dinner, Berber music, and an overnight stay at Luxury The White Camp.

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your private journey begins with a morning pick-up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech. Leaving the city behind, you head into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Enjoy flexible stops along the way for photos, short walks, and visits to traditional Berber villages.

Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where you’ll have ample time to explore its historic alleys and panoramic viewpoints. Thanks to the private nature of the tour, your schedule remains flexible and relaxed.

After lunch, travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing Ouarzazate, Skoura Oasis, and the Valley of Roses before reaching Dades Valley. If time allows, visit the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

The distance is about 564 km, but the journey is comfortably divided into three days with sightseeing stops:

  • Day 1: Marrakech ➜ Dades Valley/Tinghir
    Approx. 6–7 hours driving, with stops at Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and Skoura before an overnight stay in the Dades Valley or Tinghir.

  • Day 2: Dades/Tinghir ➜ Merzouga (Erg Chebbi dunes)
    Approx. 5–6 hours driving, including visits to Todra Gorges and Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga for your camel ride and overnight at Luxury The White Camp.

  • Day 3: Merzouga ➜ Marrakech
    Approx. 8–9 hours driving, with breaks in the Draa Valley, Ouarzazate, and the Anti-Atlas before reaching Marrakech in the evening (~19:00).

Yes, you can bring your luggage. You will have it with you at the first night hotel, and for the desert luxury camp another driver will transfer everything safely to the camp.

For the camel ride, we recommend wearing jeans or long trousers. Please prepare a small backpack with and your personal belongings. Do not forget sunglasses, a scarf, a hat, and your bottle of water. the other luggage would be dropped by your driver in your tent during your camel ride.

In winter it gets quite cold at night in the desert (temperatures can drop to around 0). You will be provided with warm blankets, but we would advise bringing warm clothes for sleeping.

The camel trek lasts for about 1 hour, depending on the season, daylight, etc.

Yes, sandboarding is free. You will have it during the camel ride, when we stop at the dunes to watch the sunset and enjoy sandboarding.

Yes, the camel ride is included. If you prefer to skip it, the camp driver will transfer you directly to the camp where you can enjoy mint tea and relax.

Yes, if you booked the quad package option, you can choose quad biking at sunset. You will stop in the big dunes for photos, relax, and enjoy sandboarding. You can also add another hour of driving for an extra charge
