Full description of 3 days :
Day 1: Marrakech – Dades Gorges.
(5 Hours drive)
After breakfast you will be picked up by your driver from our company in your hotel/riad at 8/9 am and start our 3 Day Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga traveling over Tizi n’Tichka pass ( 2260 m ) while enjoying superb views of the Atlas mountains and authentic small Berber villages on the way with breaks to take pictures then continue to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (fortified village) the famous Kasbah declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 numerous films have been shot in this spectacular place including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. Free time to have lunch at a restaurant and our 3 days, Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour continues to Ouarzazate where we will see Oscar Atlas film studio the biggest film studio in Morocco, and Taourirt Kasbah another heritage site afterward, we will pass through the magnificent palm grove of Skoura, Rose the valley known for its yearly rose festival and cosmetic products in the month of May going through the valley of thousand Kasbahs you will see so many old centuries adobe Kasbahs arrival to Dades Valley in the afternoon, dinner and overnight stay at hotel/riad overlooking the valley.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Merzouga.
(4 Hours drive)
This morning after breakfast in the hotel, driving towards Tinghir passing by Boumalne du Dades and stopping for a panoramic view of Dades valley. Later on, we will continue to Todra gorges via Imider and Tinghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrive at Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyon views while hiking on foot.
In the afternoon we continue to Tinejdad and have a break for lunch then to Erfoud where you will visit a local fossil craft workshop.
After that, you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are also called Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the dunes and get ready for a camel ride of about one an hour and a half in order to get to your Camp tents during the trek you will take a break in the middle of the dunes to watch the sunset, try the sand-boarding if that’s An activity you’re interested in, take photos and enjoy the scenery … after the sun goes down you will continue to the camp where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, dinner, campfire, music party, and Overnight stay at Luxury Sahara Desert Camping.
Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Fes.
(7 Hours drive)
Today after enjoying the amazing sunrise among the sand dunes and having a shower & breakfast at the camp, our driver will pick you up from there at 09 am. Departure for Erfoud, where there will be a stop to see how locally found fossils are worked into furniture and artifacts. From there the road leads north to Er Rachidia and the Ziz Valley, remarkable for the extent of its palm trees and a main center for the date harvest.
Lunch is in Midelt, which is called “the apple capital”, in the Middle Atlas and at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain. We cross the Tizi-n-Talremt pass and reach Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes in the cedar forests looking out for tidbits.
We reach Fes at the end of the afternoon. Your 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes comes to an end as your driver escorts you to your riad.

Today after your breakfast, you will have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of fossils, visit a nomad family living in a tent, visit Khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime which attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied.
After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. Continue by the car 4×4 to the camp for a shower and relax.

Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt – Fes.

Is the tent in Merzouga luxury camp private with a bath?
Yes, you will have private tents with private hot/ cold showers and toilets.
Are there towels available?
Yes you will have towels in our Merouga luxury camp.
What do we need to pack for camel ride?
For the camel ride, we recommend wearing jeans or long trousers. Please prepare a small backpack for your personal belongings. Do not forget sunglasses, a scarf, a hat, and your bottle of water. the other luggage would be dropped by your driver in your tent during your camel ride.
Is there an opportunity to try sandboarding?
There are few sand boards at the desert camp, however, availability is not guaranteed. So if you want to try it, please mention it during your booking.
How long is the camel ride in Merzouga dunes?
The camel trek lasts for about 1 hour, depending on the season, daylight, etc.
Can we hire quad or Buggy ?
Yes, you can. there are plenty of ATV rental companies in Merzouga that supply good quality quad bikes and dunes buggies to try in Erg Chebbi dunes. Your guide will assist you with that, and you directly pay the supplier in Merzouga. They cost 50 Euros per quad per hour.
Can we skip the camel ride and go to the camp by 4x4?
Yes, you can.
Is there a private bathroom in Dades Valley hotel second night?
Both shared and private rooms at the hotel have private bathrooms.
is it possible to get back to Marrakech instead of Fes?
